Broken brake, what are my options?

Don't come and just say "bend it back you pussy" or something, cus that's impossible in my situation. I've got the old style turntable rossi axial 14's, and the whole brake mechanism has broken, including the thing you step on. I don't know when or where it broke, and I don't know where the piece is. I asked at my local shop, and they should be able to fix it if i can get that piece. Is there anywhere I could buy one, and if so how much would it cost?

the brake assemble attaches with two tabs. you slide the heelpiece off the back by turning the screw in the back, and pop the brake off. then you just need some new brakes which are easy to get. but id let a shop dothis if you dont know this already, cause you wont be able to get the forward pressure dialed when your putting it back together without some knowledge of how the systems supposed to work. other option is just to not ski with brakes.

I'd contact Rossi...if they didn't brake from you doing something retarded, they should atleast be willing to hook you up w/ the part you need to fix it.

i would NOT recomend this ive been to lazy to bend brakes to fit my pollards and it sucks when they release and you have to chase your skis down the mtn and look like a retard
