I just broke my index and middle fingers this weekend playing hockey. They were sticking out at a pretty fucked up angle. But anyways what got me was that my fingers didnt hurt. The only pain I felt was when the doctor froze me with the needle. I broke my ankle last winter skiing and I had never felt so much pain in my life. anyone have a explanation? or maybe a cool broken bone story of their own?

Girlfrind or skiing? Damn, so many tough decisions!
 
i dunno i broke my ancle and tor all the ligaments in it, didn't cry, skied down a black and took off my ski boots, i only started crying that night when it was HUGE from the swelling, swelling HURTS but yea no explanation

shattered patella (acl tear) skiing; broken ankle on the trampoline, 6 broken fingers- sister shut my hands in the door, broken nose from having a door opened in my face, numerous wrist breaks from being thrown into a pole, broken collarbone from being thrown down the stairs, the list goes on... with many back problems scoliosis + decking a lot = vert problems...... currently I suffer the ole broken toe from dropping a 40 ozr on it and subsequently twisting my leg as ai tumbled down the stairs and catching my toe on the stair and snapping the little baby.

I did a backflip of the bar patio in Tahoe where the Intro for Ski Movie 1 was filmed. You know the part where they go upstairs and open the briefcase. I backflipped to the downstairs and landed a bit of angle, fractured my leg and broke my wrist. In the past 2 years I have had 9 Broken bones, and 4 surgeries, including nerve, Knee, and Shoulder. Yes. Broken bones and ligaments suck. Be careful.

 
yea broken through the growthplate iin my ancle and tor all the ligament in the same, ancle also broke the tibia in that ancle, broke my other ancle but never got it checked out, found out i broke my nose when i went to my ENT and he told me the wall of my septum or soemthing was all the way over, no idea, broke the orbital floor in my face falling off a horse, broken my big toe soo many times (horses and skiing), broke my hand over the summer in a fight, throught i broke my nuckle but didn't, yea... good times, cracked 3 helmets skiinga nd completly ruined 2 helmets riding horses

yea 3 casts in 3 months for the ancle one time, 3 months never out of a cast, and oh i went through 3 days of physical therapy for the ligaments before they found the break through the growth plate, yea ouchy?

i broke the same collar bone one then rught after i broke it again and i also broke the same on 2 tiems be for that

 
i overshot a table and pushed my left tibia into my left ankle's growth plate, i was stoked on life...

I was walking around my house and tripped over my big toe and heard all of this snapping and crunching noises as this happened. I broke it. Then a few months later, I fell down my stairs and rebroke my toe.

i kinda did the same thing a couple years ago. i was jumping on my trampoline with Darryl, and i fell off... and i landed with my toe on a 2' hose. so my baby toe was sticking straight out sideways. i looked at it and started to laugh.. like it was sticking directly sideways... i tried to put it back in place, and it just poped out to the side again. so i did that like 3 times, then duct taped it to the one next to it and watched some tv. its fine now... except that it is much bigger than the one on the other foot. meh. but yea same shit... didn't hurt at all.

whats this justin? not goin to share your incrediable collar bone story? iv never broken a bone in my life, and i hope that i never do. im knockingon wood right now... Maybe it didnt hurt because or adreniline? there were no nerves damaged? or possibly that you knew what was going on and you wenrt in shock. Its also a diffrent bone on a diffrent part of the body. Im sure that if you went and broke your femur next, it woul hurt like a bitch

i busted my arm 2 years ago doing a 720, i skied to the ski patrol hut thing too...

i also played half of a football season with a hairline fracture in my heal....

i shattered my collar bone last year. it hurt a lot. i still skied down. but it fucking hurt. I broke three bones in my foot trampolineing once. it hurt a lot. one of the bones almost went through the top of my foot.

I had the bone in my middle finger shoot through my fingernail. After that, the doctor shot me with some stuff in my hand that made my finger twice the regular size. And I looked over at my finger while he was messing with it, and watched him stick a tweezers through my finger into my hand to grab the snapped tendon. It was the most horrible thing I have ever seen....

collarbone; hurt like hell, elbow didnt hurt at all waited 3 hours before going to get it checked out imagine my suprise when they said it was broken, last week spiral fracture (3 breaks) in my right ring finger kinda noticed when it was pointing sideways! not much pain till the swelling started and the throbbing but not bad.

 
Not skiing, but I broke my wrist in half playing soccer when I was 9 years old. It hurt a lot, but I didn't cry until that night when my codiene wore off at 2 in the morning. Damn that was the most painful night of my life. I broke my wrist after that 2 years later.

 
Downhill biking i broke my finger in 3 places, including right on the knuckle, and my wrist. it swole up bad.

the most painful night of my life had nothing to do with a broken bone. It had everything to do with a corneal obrasion, or a cut across my eyeball. I was hit in the eye with an elastic band from a musical instrument i made for grade 5 class. i was fine, i went to sleep and work up in the middle of the night screaming. i still remember the agony. I had a gash across my cornia. The funny thing is, when one of your eyes gets hurt, it hurts to look out of your other eye too.

hah, yeah i hear ya about the eye thing. i mean, i cant compare, but i got pepper spray in my one eye, and it hurts so much you have to close your eyes, but the pain doesnt go away, it pissed me off just because there was absolutely nothing i could do for the pain, you know if you get cut you hold the cut and it sort of soothes you.. theres no such thing.. its just always there.. gah.

ive broken bones, but the worst pain i can remember was when i sprained my ankle relly bad and then had to walk to macdonalds and back because my friends were hungry. i got dizzy and fell down. i wanted to chop off my entire leg

Pussies, 4 finger's on my left hand were almost cut off , i lost half of one and have no feeling in the rest. and i was skiing 2 months after it happend.

whoever it was with the corneal abrasion-- holy god those hurt truly really badly. my brother hit me over the head with a book once and it sliced my eye open. i was crying out bloood all over my bed. and yes it is quite painful also.

I messed up a few ribs hitting a hip with my moun tain bike. It was in the golf course near my house. It sucked, cause I didn't do anything about it, and now I have some bent ribs.

i hit a 60' table going too fast, flew 80' landed on my back. 5 compression fractured verebre, and a small crack in my pelvis

 
two compression fractured verebre and basically exploded my foot by overshooting a jump... broken both arms, a bunch of fingers, and a few toes

 
Broke my leg (tib/fib) right above the boot. Missed a trip to whistler cause of it. Not good

Skiing influences my life way too much, I can be at some surf spot where theres not any snow at all and I walk by this resturant and I'll see a hand rail outside it and I'll have a thought that how can I get snow out here to slide this rail. Which is absolutly super stupid- Jon Olsson
 
i beat all of you bitches. MY femur was broken quadracepts and hamstrings blown apart bone sticking out of my thigh, fucked up my minscuos and mcl all with a busted ankle and wrist and a broken neck.

all from hitting a tree airbourne roof first going about 70 in a jeep.... yea i dont think pain gets worse than a femur sticking out of your thigh. but i have my life. WHEN U CRASH CRASH IN STYLE

you see, the problem is, all you guys do is hype yourself and argue, while smuggs just makes sweet beanies, and doesnt even pretend to be a company.
