Broke my ski behind the binding

Ok so what happened is i was getting my feet back under me working on some 3s over like a 15ft jump and one time landed backseat thought i had landed the trick fine, rode about 15ft and when i was standing back up from the back seat landing i just fell on my ass and spun completely around. when i landed I broke my ski right behind the heel piece. I was very surprised i broke it bc i rode away. I cant believe that is normal. I would understand if i was on a pretty good size of jump and i landed with all my weight on them but it wasnt even that backseat. Will warranty cover this? i read the warranty sticky and they said hard landings might be voided but it wasn't that hard if i rode it out, right? btw riding 168 scott jibs

i bought them last year year in march right before i went out to breck so they have about 14 days on them between last year and this year. They fall into the 2 year warranty. i looked on scotts website was not very clear on their warranty. I am going to try either way just want to know what to expect thanks for the help man

whatever you do, don't go in guns blazing on the customer support dudes. Always be nice and polite to them and they can cut you some slack if needed, instead of you yelling and complaining right off the bat. That will just make them find a way to not help you.

Did you land backseat or not? Your post is confusing as hell, try to use clearer language when you email Scott about the warranty

Where did you but them? The best thing you can do is take them back to the shop you got then from. This can be harder if you got them online though. The shop you got them from will send them back to scot usually free of charge and Scott will asses the ski. I would guess this may actually be covered but scot will determin what to do. A new pair may be sent to you or a credit to the original shop so they can give you a new pair. So first thing you should do is rather then contact Scott contact the shop you got them from.
