I've ripped out the crotch from ALL off snow pants because of the damned spread eagle. If I were to buy 'proper fitting' snow pants maybe it won't happen. I just love my baggy volcom pants too much.

Related: Any time I do glacier travel and have to rope up, the looks I get from my fellow skiers when I'm struggling to get the climbing harness over my baggy pants is awesome.
