Bristol finally got some other runs in but im still waiting for the terain park. I went sunday and they had really good conditions did anyone else go?

 
anyone know when they plan to open the park/pipe? what kind of hits or rails will they have? they never reply to my emails

I imagine they will have a lot, the run the park is on is huge. i can't wait. I'm going tomorrow to check it out.

i went last sunday, they had some jumps on the side of rocket, nothing big..i imagine the park will be good, probably wont be up till january, i just hope they groom it more than they did last year

Looks like the pipe is pretty much cut and finished. They had a couple mounds of snow that will be turned into tables. Nothing huge.I can't wait till it opens. I didn't see any rails.

doesnt surprise me about the rails, glad to hear tabletops though, i was worried it was just guna be a couple of icy kickers like 2 years ago

you say they have the pipe cut!!!hell yeah i got to go. I did not think they would do it that soon. i hope they will take care of the jumps and pipe b/c i can them geting icy quick

there opening runs very quikly 9 open now maybe theyll have that up by the christmas break, that would be cool considering bristol didnt even open till christmas break last year

im scared......

they accually replied to my email but once again didnt really answer my question.heres what they said

We will be focusing our snowmaking efforts on the half pipe next. At this point, we do not have a date, but as soon as it is open, it will be posted on our conditions page of our web site (www.bristolmountain.com).

...so im just guessing the date will probably be the weekend of the 21st cause this warm were getting will probably kill off some of the base, sucks just when conditions were getting good too. i might be at swain or bristol this friday and either way ill report back

yo where is Bristol located? can somebody give me a general location. Sounds pretty good. Thanks. IM located down in West Chester PA, is this a vermont or PA thing?

 
It's in NY. Trust me, it sucks ass. I thought it was cut, well it looked like it was cut. Sorry for the bad info.

i sent bristol an email this is what they said

'The dimensions of the new half pipe will be 450' X 35' with 10'-12' walls.'

thats small 10'-12'walls. the way everyone made it sound it was going to be a superpipe, like 15 foot walls
