Nah, this is what people be doing first when they get back home from the shop now.

I hadn't done it to any past skis i've had, so I detuned my new pair for the first time yesterday. It felt so wrong but i'm hyped to see how they feel. Also looking at your new binding/topsheet combo hits differently.

what type of file do you fellas recommend? the one I got worked pretty good on my old Vs but I'm nervous to use it on my new skis

De-tune underfoot by using a file or angle grinder and make it dull/round

just rub your ski edges off each other, or even a rail

I use to even just walk into the resort rental tuningshop and ask to borrow one or have a guy detune
