What’s up ski world!!?? I’m hoping you all are doing well. I have an inquiry for this community which I fucking love...

What trick would you like to see brought back, and which skier’s style would be the sickest to emulate in the execution of the trick?

My future spin is not going to be a 1980, rather kicking back to the old school of skiing and attempting tricks of the greats from growing up in the industry... and making an edit of it, with my own twist of course.

Please help me out as you are the “target market” so to speak!! I think this will be fuckin fun and fun to watch! Also this will be my “Sponsor Me” edit so help Me reincarnate my ski career, and keep it 100 in the name of fun!
 
150 ft. big airs with 180's and 360's only. Single flips. Daffys. Back scratchers. Etc. No multiple spins or flips. No off axis either.

I still think super slow single flips look fucking unreal. like those underflip/ backflips that Sammy c does and Eric pollard used to do some different cool stuff in the old nimbus vids.
 
One trick that I havent seen in a while... (Maybe I'm just not looking hard enough) is the truck driver!... I think its pretty bad ass, especially because I cant even touch my toes, much less the tips of my skis... So my reccomendation is a Double Lincoln Loop truck driver!
 
Here is my trick list for ya:

-hand drag 1 critical, nearing a stall

-Hand drag a rainbow box or rail in its entirety

-hand plant in the half pipe; Boyld Easley style

-Cork 810 disaster; candide thovex size

-Backflip mute, JP Auclair way

-Switch double backflip; Rory Silva at the whistler jump

-D spin 1080 iron cross on a hip jump and clear the landing; Tanner Hall in Happy Dayz

-Rodeo 5 Bow and Arrow

-Switch Misty 9 mute or tail off a cornice; Jon Olson style

-Switch cork 1080 tail on a channel gap jump. extra credit for Mikael Deschenaux's US open win

-Dspin 9 iron cross in the pipe; Nick Mercon style as in Ski Movie 2: High Society

-A David Crichton Alley-oop rodeo 5 critcal

-Switch rodeo 9 mute grab as Tanner Hall puts down in Ski Movie 3: the front line.

-270 in, sw up, broken; put it down hard like Charles Gagnier

Creative tricks Id like to see:

Backslide, sw up, backslide

switch one foot rodeo 5 critical

Backflip Cossack

Daffy twist twist spread on a mogul course, using a bump to get air only.
 
Breby grabs, lincoln loops, bow and arrow grabs, liu kang grabs (they can look good), flat 7 screamin seamen, mistys, weird tricks that never really caught on that garret russell and christian bieri did (x grinds and so on), tricks done in the pipe and off groomer side hits.

Not so much old school, but whatever. Don't ski for us, ski for you, otherwise you will never be happy.

Not really old school, but a cork 3 like delorme was doing in Refresh where it looks like its going to 5 but you bring it back to 3.

OP, if what your saying holds true then its going to be all about the grabs. The flips with technical grabs will get the most points, where a double Lincoln truck could make people lose their minds like the superman front.
 
First off, hats off to you for your interview with Powell. That takes a lot of balls to be that honest. Best of luck to you in your recovery.

I am going to second that thall 3 from session 1242. That trick lit up the Newschoolers BB back in the day and is still as stylish today as it was back then. Maybe some of those step downs in the BC from that segment as well. Hell, just recreate the whole thing with mob deep and all sprinkling your own flavor in. Still an absolute banger segment from a classic film.

Five with a fat op nose grab. Brogan used to make those look so sick back in the day, I know you could make that happen!
