what jumps at bridger do you think are the best? landings, air, etc.

any good backcountry stuff around the area?

last year we built a pretty nice kicker over on bitterroot. it will probably be resurected some time this spring. other than that, hike the ridge and bomb off some fucking cliffs.

with teh Ridge at bridger, are there designated places to hike, or can you pretty much hike up wherever the fuck you feel like it?

there's two places to hike, top of bridger lift and top of pierre's. can't just hike anywhere. they have beacon checks at those two spots too.

 
I hike a fair bit...alotta bit I guess..sometimes...sometimes I'm lazy though so I don't

one of the sickest every year hits is definetly off the john running right next to bridger lift. of course you know there are always some good hits in sluice box, and the windlip in sleshmans cant be beat-

 
Anyone want to go and build some jumps with me once the snow falls. Im new here and I need some people to go skiing with me :) I think I saw some snow on the hills today, hopefully its an early winter...

Looks like Big Sky is getting a bit of snow lately...who's all going to be riding up there on Thanksgiving weekend? I'll be there on that Sunday, my Frequency Card gives me free skiing then...I'm down for riding with whoever!

Ha, if u cant find jumps at bridger u are an idiot. We build em there all the time, and so do alot of other ppl too. And a for the ridge, there are only 2 designated spots, but there are some spots where u can sneak up if u dont have a peep.

this thread was to post which jumps are nice at specific times. like say, last saturday the pierre's gully jump was smoooth

The pierres gully jump? Are u talking about that small shit at the end of the bottom gully? That is weak, and the landing is always ice from little kids crashing on it. The best jumps are the ones u build, because the ski patrol generaly let skier made jumps on a main run.

there aren't any jumps at bridger that aren't weak, but I was floating 5s of it so, that's decent for a bridger jump

it may be weak sometimes, but im with slickjames on this one, when u catch it on a good day it can be alright
