Bridger...

I've heard it'll just be what they have open right now for the rest of the season. Sluice Box and the gully on Alpine will be holding snow for quite a while...
 
I was talking about the debris piles from Bridger Gully and Sluice Box. That gully underneath Alpine has an absurd amount of snow in it now...but it's flat.
 
Those pictures were nuts. So what exactly happened? There website and facebook didnt have much info. I looked at TGR a few days ago but I dont really do much interneting anymore.
 
From what I gathered, it was just routine bombing that worked really well. We've had a layer of really weak facets at the ground all season, and that's been failing everywhere in the Bridgers the past 3 weeks or so.
 
Sounds like the sluice box slide was a secondary release off an explosive triggered loose/wet slide. Kinda more scary.
