Brian Head, UT for New Years?

Hey NS,

It has been a long time since I've posted, but just wondering if anyone knows the scoop on Brian Head for Winter Break. I'm from Vegas so thats where the cabin is, but snow is looking really bad right now and was wondering if it would even be worth it to plan on heading up around the 28th of December until like the 2nd of January? Clearly nobody is a snow god, but is it just this bad in Utah already, or is it looking like it'll come around?

All models agree on massive ridge of high pressure till mid month. Seems like inversions and cold under the high, so snow will be made when it can be. Hope the second half of December turns around.

thanks for the reply. sort of re-affirmed what I was thinking unfortunately :/

Couple dry, cold weeks coming but at least resorts can start opening more of their mountains, build big parks, etc. Then it will snow and everything is going to be fine. We had pretty much zero snow last year until mid december and we had a wonderful average year last year, some of the best days were in late december.
