Bretton Woods Old Park

Dude I miss the old parks like ~2015 back when they had an actual park crew. I just watched some videos of people throwing dope tricks there and all the good rails and everything. Now they have the shittiest park in the east. I ski there every week and the park is infested with gapers, there is barely any park skiers besides me and my friends. There’s the 3 tiniest jumps I have ever seen with a knuckle that is like a mile long and a couple rails and boxes with awful lips. Gapers run rampant and ruin the park. They don’t even have a park crew it’s jist some snow makers that get paid extra to make shitty jumps. Like step the fuck up and build some shit that u did back in 2011

Someone from Boston died in the park there like 3 years ago, so they stopped building one.

I'm also there most days every week since I work at the HiC. The reasons you describe Bretton woods as lame are the reasons I love it. We call it Medicaid Mountain. I guarantee that the woods are going to be untouched for days after this storm. Also, I'm the best skier at Bretton Woods

Lol agreed that’s why I love Bretton woods. Some fun spots to find too

Same thing happened to wachusett. When the park was under the lift it had decent jump line and then 20 or so rails and jibs and hips. Then there was rails all they until you got to the park and on the runout there random rails and jumps. Now there like 5 guys that run it and it’s horrible. I think they used to contract it out on a small scale or hired a decent amount of people. Such a shame to see things like this happen.

Are there still two parks or is there just that one the night skiing run is on

I've had a season pass there for the past few years, park used to be not bad and it was lit up at night which was sick. not even worth the wait at Bethlehem to lap those shitty kickers and massive knuckles anymore though, and they even took down the old shed that was in the park. The best times were when they had a good Crawford's Blaze setup haven't even seen it open for a decent part of the season in years though.

Somebody died so they decided to have random snowmakers install features? That seems like a great way to reduce liability...

I'm not to sure about the Snowmakers building the park, I know last year they had a park crew. I don't work there, but who knows. Bretton Woods has so much money and they are just trying to make the most comfortable experience for older/newer skiers. Sad it doesn't make its way to the park. The Crawford blaze setup was such a fun ripper tho

I was talking about the park but it is a fun mountain anyway

Just went Friday and it was pretty bad like I expected, ton of ice, three too short rails, couple boxes and two jumps practically made of ice. Although I was surprised how many people there were skiing the park.
