I have been to breck over the summer and it was a bad ass place so we decided to plan a trip there this winter. Does anyone know of any good places to stay? Eat? Shop? Ski? anything cool about breck. Thanks for you help.

 
if you guys wanna fork over alot of money, stay at beaver run lodge. It is slopeside next to the beaver run express at peak 9 base. That place is sweet. Food-You get continental breakfast at beaver run or you can ski a little bit down to the bottom of peak 9 before the lifts open to the 'Copper House' or something. they have good food. If you wanna go into town, go to Eric's or Fatty's pizza, or the tumbleweed saloon.

Breck is awesome, im moving there after i graduate high school.

I wouldnt shop much if i were you because everything is expensive. There are shops everywhere though.

Breck is ok, but the way to go is Whistler, its awesome. Best runs, big park, great extremes, awesome villiage and night life (drinking age 19, oh and tickets are only $39US. Its such a good deal.

beaver run aint that good cause it by peak 9. Peak 9 sux compared to peak 8. Peak 8 opens next weekend and its gonna be sick. Try to get a condo or somethin on peak 8 maybe. But it doesnt take long to get to peak 8 from peak 9 if you wake up early and get on the lifts. Beaver run does kick ass if you got the money!!

 
Just stay in Silverthorne, get a place for about $59, $69 a night. it's only about 15 minutes from Breck and then you also have Keystone (lighted park), A-basin (maybe the best place in CO), Vail, Copper, and Loveland also within 30 minutes or so.

yeah, i am also going to breck, everywhere in silverthorne and frisco is booked already that is cheap! Can anyone tell me where their are cliffs at breck?

Eat at downstairs at eric's good cheap food it's on main st. The town isn't very big so you don't need to stay at beaver run, try to find a lace in frisco, it's closer than silverthorne.

Yo bitch ass i'll be there on sunday. Probably in the park mostly but still go cruisin on the rest of the peak.

Yea there are some good cliffs at Breck to answer that question. The t-bar is the way to all the goods at Breck and there are some decent cliffs if you traverse off to the left from the top of the t-bar. If you want real cliffs though go to a-basin about 20 minutes away. If you are coming out west and going to breck don't just ski the park, check out some of the stuff off the t-bar and also some of the backcountry stuff. There is a gate that leads to Windows, a pretty decent area that allows for easy reentry into the resort. Definitely hike off the t-bar up into imperial bowl and lake chutes, when there is pow it is about as good as it gets up there.

10 days huh? Just in time for the opening of the whole mtn.

We got a bunch of people in the area if you want people to ride with.

 
There's also a sweet 10 ft cliff or so off on peak 10, its just off of one of those double black bump runs, can't think of the name coming down just on the right to that lift.

CUBuff- is it Blackhawk? I remember that there was a cliff on that. It could have been mustang though.
