Hey guys I am currently back and forth with Vail about hosting a big mtn comp on Peak6 terrain this spring and in order to get the ball really rolling I have created a petition! Please click this link here to sign it and lets make this happen:

Signed, love the idea. Looked up some photos of peak 6 and it doesn't really seem ideal for a typical big mountain comp venue though. There's just not a whole lot of variety as far as different lines go and the runs would be fairly short. But hey, who cares it would be awesome. Maybe just a few really small comps over a few days in the Spring (girls, under 17s,etc.) I know Vail resorts wouldn't be too stoked on closing their prime new terrain too often. Still good luck I really hope this one goes through.
 
The terrain is perfect for a local comp. not a FWT. Its intent is get people involved and have fun. All prizes will be donated. If you want to make it more intense, you COULD design it like Red Bull Catcher esp considering the amount of airs there are in the North Chutes.
 
got me and a few others to sign it, I'd be more than stoked on this! I imagine it'd turn in to a downright huckfest with the short length of the runs, sounds fun!
 
so is this what the gopro peak 6 comp this saturday came from? or does that have anything to with this? regardless I doubt it will go down, supposed to dump saturday
