Breck Hawks Freestyle Team

Hey NS'ers of summit county! Hopefully some of you guys have had some experience with this team, and if not let this thread die.

Anyways i'l be on the Breck team for the first time this season. I've heard some from friends and even from some of the coaches but i'm curious to know what you guys all think about the coaches and the team itself.

Please post any advice or any comments. Thanks Guys.
 
I've seen Hawks out at Steamboat in the summer coaching the kids at the water ramps. I remember he had some really good groms. He seemed like a nice guy, definitely a character, threw a sick sw flat 3, then next hit under rotated a backflip straight to his head.
 
I have been a part of team summit for a year and it was pretty fun but didn't seem worth the money. It was a good way to meet people to shred with but the coaching wasn't at the level that i would have benefited from. Team Breck always seems to have a ton of kids on the team and has a bunch of coaching actually coaching. They always seem to have fun. I don't know any of the kids but they seem chill for sure. It should be a great experience for you. You'll have fun.
 
I'm on the full time week team. last year was my first year on the team and it was the best winter of my life! We always see these other teams that are really up tight and serious about everything and just laugh cause we are most likely progressing more while having a lot more fun. All the coaches are great and will help you push yourself. Theres always a good vibe and lots of fun to be had. also, the site is about to go up, http://hawksfreeride.com/ , hopefully haha. anyways, you will have a ton of fun this winter on the team.
 
I always see team breck and i know a ton of the kids on there. ONce you meet Levi ascher or Kai George tell them both that they are dirty old bastards. I personally feel that Team Breck is overpriced for the ammount of coaching that goes on. It may just be that i know everyone at breck so i get the cocaching for free essentially. But the kids on the team are super chill. Oh and you will probly meet Ethan Timmons too. he is big goofy fucker. anyways most of the coaches are super legit but from what i have experienced Chris Hawks is kinda a douche to anyone thats not on his team. Anywho I will see ya on the mountain this year dude. I lap park lane and i wear lack nothface pants and i have the 09 Jon olson Bradford orange jacket. i wear hoodies too. I have yellow scott fixs and a gree helmet all stickered out. rasta POW gloves. If you see me feel free to shout out my user name.
