Breaking Salomon SPK boots in...

I bought a pair of new 27.5 SPK's about a month ago, and have skied them twice (it hasn't been more cause I live in central california, and snow is lacking right now.)

Anyways, its been about 8 hours on the hill so far, and the first day my foot was totally numb, and hurt pretty bad, but i expected that cause I bought them snug, and fit well. The second day was much better and they feel like there breaking in, but they still feel rather tight. How long does it take for boots to break in fully and form to your feet? I want to be able to enjoy my boots :)

Yea I have been. Quite alot actually. But im kind of freaking out that i bought the wrong size..

but i'll give it a couple more days and see what to do.

I have a pair and it took about that long until they started feeling really nice. I got them tight as well.

Don't worry about it (assuming you bought the right shell size) they'll fit fine after 5-7 days on-snow, sometimes break-in takes less time, but generally, put a week on them and you'll be ok.

i wore my spk pros for 6 hours a day for 5 days and the first time i got on snow they felt amazing. so just do everything with them on

Heat moulding the liners just speeds up the process of them normally moulding themselves due to the heat of your foot, so i don't think that will do a whole lot.

Get some footbeds and see how you go
