I think, but don't know, that it has something to do with warren miller narrating refresh and warren miller entertainment group suing somebody, maybe him??? Or level one?

Either way, i heard that movies was amazing and i'm gonna buy it for sure now.
 
for those that missed it. Warren Miller Entertainment Group filed a lawsuit against Level 1 for using Warren Miller as the commentator because WMEG believes they have the rights to Warren's voice. (i think thats whats going on)

WMEG is absolutely terrible for the sport of skiing, hands down.
 
I am in the process of writing a well though out comment that hopefully doesn't sound retarded or bitchy (though it probably will). I'll post it in here when done. I encourage everyone to voice their opinion. We are Level 1's defense.
 
Yah guys, if you are indeed voicing your concern to WMEG please keep it professional and respectable, they don't need comments full of improper grammer, and 12 year olds acting out tantrums, polite and your voice will be heard.
 
My letter to warren miller company;

Dear WMC, This evening I heard that your company is filing a law suit against Level One Productions. I do not know the exact details and could be way off, but as I understand it is due to the fact they used Warren Millers voice in parts of their movie. I am going to try to keep my thoughts concise. Let me start by saying, as an advocate for the advancement of the ski industry, this is completely the WRONG approach to the issue. Our industry still does not have enough revenue for production companies to destroy other companies with petty issues like this. This community is tight enough for you at WM to take up this discrepancy with Level One. This is extremely frustrating to hear that you would feel the need to do this to such a quality group of people just out to make a living for them selves. Their use of Warren's voice could hardly hinder business for you all. If anything, it would only generate interest back to you. But, your law suit has worked quite the opposite. As an avid follower of both WM and Level One (I personally own EVERY Level One movie and EVERY WM video since 2000) I regret to tell you that solely because of this event I will not be purchasing Children of Winter. Also, unless I have my facts wrong and I am very misinformed on the issue (which I very well could be) I will no longer purchase videos from WM or support the company. As you may already know, I am not the only one who feels this way on the issue, I sincerely hope that the decrease in sales you face from the large amount of us upset over this, greatly out weighs any profit you obtain from the Level One law suit, who has done nothing but produce quality movies and support the industry in a POSITIVE manner. just to clarify, Warren Miller (the person) has nothing to do with Warren Miller Entertainment. The company was sold to Time Inc.
 
sounds legit man. I like the part about WM losing more money than they will make suing Level 1. thats quality.
 
That sucks. Maybe it's because WME doesn't want the competition that L1 is generating? I don't know, just a speculation.
