Break my ipod

hack the OS somehow. make sure you act really stupid like "it just won't work, the music won't come out of the headphones...I try to turn the volume up louder but the screen is just not there, i think it's like sick or something"
 
apple only warentes software dammage

so if you do any dammage to the screen case or harddrive your pertty much fucked
 
no. first time i dropped it from about 2 feet high. it landed on the corner, and cracked the screen. second time i got was messin around, and my freind pushed me down, and it broke
 
shove a mettal pin in the headphone jack untill it breaks, then tell them you dont know what happened and they probolly wont figure it out.
 
im sorry to disaspoint you, but breaking your normal ipod will just get you a replacement of what u have now.. i tried, sent it back, and recieved the same old shit. According to them, they have every ipod model made in backstock
 
that sucks. i used to have a best buy warranty and they would give you teh newest thing. i guess its not even worth the hassle then.
 
dont make the damage look super bad cuzz then they will be all hey this kid is fucking with us..just wreak the hd or something
 
let me say this, a friend had a 6gb mini, bought it from best buy... he broke it - got a new ipod video. so yea its possible to get the video through warranty
 
zap it in the microwave for a few seconds, nothin will work but itll look the same

it sounds like it might work anyways
 
Dipp the usb cable in water just before you plug it in, make sure it is wet. That should fry the inside I think. I remember reading a story of how someone did that to a mini disc player and he got an ipod off warranty like 2 years ago.
 
drop it from fairly high up while its playing, it fucks the HD up.

also you could try yanking on the cord as its plugged in, and if u crack the docking bay part, it stops working
 
mine freezes alot and then goes to the "go to the apple support page" alot. think ill return it but does anyone know like a email or a contact i can talk to apple with?
 
i had my ipod in my pocket... and i was going up these stairs, so at the top i did a combat roll. and now the screen is fuuuucked up like black streaks everywhere and you cant see a thing. it still plays music tho
 
get a car plug in for it and turn your car on and off alot( just every time you go somewhere) turning on the car short circuts it every time you turn on the car so eventually it starts freezing and malfunctioning and shit, my friend did this on accident with 4 ipods and they finally figured out what was going wrong with them, so now we just do it after we have had them for a while and get all shitty so we can get new ones
 
you cant do anything with water. theres a piece of paper in it when they open it up they see that it was water damage cuz it changes colors.
