Brazil vs. North Korea

2-0 thus far i wouldnt be surprised if NK had some of these players/coaches killed over this game
 
ha there couldn't possibly be North korean fans I thought nobody was allowed to leave North Korea which is why I was surprised to see North Korea in the world cup.
Also 2-0 brazil lets keep this up I can't bear to see North Korea win
 
Before the showed a shot of a small section all dressed in N. Korea uniforms and gear... Not sure if they're actually Koreans though.

Brazil really stepped it up, and Korea looks like they're losing motivation. Not much, but just a little.
 
how the fuck did those NK fans get there? were they fake or "hand picked" by kim jong fuck?
 
wow thank god Brazil won. honestly I hate North Korea not the people but Kim Jong Il is evil. He does not deserve the satisfaction of seeing his team score against brazil.
 
brazil is just on another level than North Korea, although Korea did score a goal late in the game, it was as the announcer said, "too little too late"
 
That was a really good run by north korea to get that goal near the end. Not going to lie. Those DPNK guys actually didnt dissapoint - even though in the friendly I saw them play against greece, they were smashed by a useless greek offense... Way to step it up.

It's as if the Brazillians were just like "no... you're NOT about to score on us right now... there's no way..."

kinda crazy actually. I bet that goal is going to be replayed in North Korea and they're going to say "our glorious dear leader's soccer team won the world cup today by beating 5 time champion brazil with this incredible goal. blah blah blah"

 
They could just go to a propaganda commercial whenever the brazillians scored, or even took a shot or anything... and then show the goal at the end, and show the 1000 chinese cheering for them, and bang... they win the world cup.

What's another awesome fun fact i learned on espn3 today was that the coach of the north koreans is 'getting tactical advice from a super high technological communication device that nobody else can see or hear'

Italy's a bunch of divers and geriatric patients now... They looked awful against paraguay, and only won becuase Paraguay has worse goalkeeping than England. Plus, if Buffon is really hurt, then they are super sunk.

The USA will have to hope they dont get 2nd in the group behind england, and face off against germany in the knockout phase.
 
those north korean fans are prolly just south koreans who showed up to root for the friendly neighboring country to the north.

and kim jung il's goal at the end was sick, too bad he didn't have a team to help him score some more!
 
not exactly with the toe, but when you drop your toe and start hitting it lower and lower is when you start hitting serious shots with opposite curve/knucklers
 
I lol'd. Support your country man, that is the point of the world cup. All the different players that play all over the world in different leagues, for different teams, with people of different nationalities come together once every four years to put aside what they normally do and play for their country's price. Would you support Brazil over America?
On a totally unrelated not, FUCK Brazil. Korea never had a chance (they scored a goal though whoa, wasn't expecting that), but I would root for anyone in a game against Brazil. Mostly just because they knocked England out of the Cup in 2002 and I'm still butthurt about it though :p
 
Actually, the USA is one of my least favorite countries. I dislike the people, most of the places, and the culture. I much prefer Brazil. I just root for whatever team I want, and Brazil is always good, so why not root for them?

I root for them in the Olympics, along with Canada.

fuck yeah man, ive been saying it for years now, ivory coast will do nasty, especially with brazil only beating PRK by 1. really helps out.
 
North Korea has only participated in the World Cup one time before in1960's.. :DThey beat Italy which got them to quater where they lost 3-5 to Portugal.. so was rly stoked to see how they would do against Brazil yesterday. They might be small and hell communist, but those small asian dudes are fast as fuck! :P
 
They actually have really good skills. I was surprised as hell. They are poor as hell too, and had to train in a public Gym in Johannesberg.

They are surely a rag tag bunch. I'd be rooting for them to do well if it weren't that Kim Jong IL's would take all the credit for it...
