Brand new EPs!!! Need binding advice.

Hey guys,
So I recently purchased myself a pair of EP pros and I was just wondering.
Whats the best binding for them?
I was thinking about Jesters but is there a better binding out there for my style of riding?
These are going to be about,
80% chair pow20% Big mtn.
Thanks, +k for insight.

yeah definitely jesters are perfect, and also check out the pivots. The jesters are light, durable. Pivots kinda heavy, but save your legs

I really like the jesters because they take a bunch of weight off of my ski and now-a-days that really helps. I was looking at pivots but aren't they more park oriented. From my friends, I've heard a lot of complaints on how they release at wrong times and don't when needed.
If I decide to tour this year I might invest in dukes. Do you know if they have any durability issues?

I used dukes for one season, they exploded twice on me (different sets of bindings) and broke a shitload of times. They have a spring for a 16 DIN but durability as an old marker 12.. I just went back to sollys and trekkers, heavy ass setup but you know you can trust your bindings.

I'd say go for STH16, 916/920, FKS/P 15/18, Peak 15/18 thats bindings I trust, not that they never break but they break because obvious reasons

I wouldn't mount such a soft ski with such a heavy binding like the Duke, I've heard stories of it damaging skis over time that are very soft laterally. I would go with some FKS, if not, Jesters are sweet too.

got me a pair as well, and i'm going with the jesters :)mainly because of the weight and durability, but also the looks; i find the EP pro such a beautiful ski i wouldn't want to wreck its look with some ugly binding...
+you can get jesters with perfect brake width, so you don't need to bend the brakes.....

powder.....
the fattest HEAD ski is the JIMI 110, which imho classifies as a fat all-mountain plank, and not particularly suited for real deep powder days...

why?
i've been riding a 108 mm scott p4 and needed something bigger and rockered, thats why i got myself an EP pro....
if you're looking for a really fat, rockered powder plank the jimi is just in another category.....not saying its not suited for powder, its just a totally different ski....

Actually I didn't buy EPs. They were given to me in a comp. Head has never sent me any pow skis and I would like to start doing back country jumps.
Head doesn't care if I use line, k2, or whatever, as long as it's not on film, photo, or in comp.
I would never pay for a ski, there is no reason to at this point.

Sorry I made a mistake,
I actually did have to pay extra for these.
I sold the hell-bents that I won and then purchased EPs, I paid an additional $20 I think.

I have my EPs mounted at true center with Jesters. They work pretty good so far. If you're mostly skiing deep pow I'd put them where it says to on the top sheet (I'm 1.5, maybe 2cm in front of that)I would go with the Jester over the old Pivot solely due to the larger footprint of the binding on the ski. More force on the edge and less likely to rip out.
Be super, super careful mounting them. I think they're not as deep as most skis underfoot, I had heard they were shallow and let my tech know so he was really careful mounting them and after a few weeks on them you can still see some very slight dimples in the bases where the screws are pushing on the base material. Considering grinding the screws down a little bit or try find some slightly shorter ones.
