I want to point out that skiing desperately needs to become more diversified. And there are only few people/companies out there trying to accomplish that. I'm not talking about hopping on all these various band wagons, but being creative and starting your own little niche.

People need to embrace everything that is going on in skiing regardless if you like it or not. Speak your mind if you don't like something, but never say that something shouldn't be in skiing, because all these various niches in our little sport will only make it grow and become stronger, better, and more fun.
 
Dude just let people ski, seriously. And how many different ways are there to ski down a mountain anyways? jesus. Skiing is fine the way it is, and it will naturally progress to the way it needs to be. Just leave it alone.
 
^^ you can say that all day, but people are still going to be complaining about various aspects of our sport... though I see your point, why not try to promote a more diversified sport? who knows, all i know is that i love the sport and i'm gonna keep doing my thing regardless, so props to each side of the argument...
 
my point exactly. we're all doing what we love and essentially all that is, is sliding on snow down some hills. we shouldn't be mad about what kids are wearing whether it is tight pants or baggy pants.

and i agree with the above person. let skiing evolve in the manner that it is. but we need to let it evolve and accept the various things that are blooming within the sport.

there is too much hating going on in skiing and i think its ridiculous. ski and let ski.
 
i agree with you. for example, once everyone got into park, people started "branching out" into BC freestyle. Now, more people will get into that and it wont be progressive anymore. People just need to develop their own style and ski how they want.
