Brake width

Would the 90 brake be ok if i just scrape some plastic from brakes? Or if I bend them with hand once they are mounted?

rule of thumb is 15mm bigger than ski width at the max.

narrower can be bent as well if the tech agrees to do it.

Your shop will bend them for you.

But yes, 110 would be likely to hook up on each other and get caught.

if you go with a break over 15mm wider, can you bend them in? looking to get last years look pivot 14s for 200, and put them on the TSTs, but the only width available is 130. could I bend them in to get them to work? just looking to save some cash

Yeah, that would be a NOPE.

If you're going with the 90's and bending them, just be sure that they clear the top of the ski and lay flat when your boot is in. Otherwise you're going to be surprised the first time you carve switch...

tough spot. You might be able to bend the 90s but you always risk a runaway. 110 is definitely on the outer limits of width though
