Brake system

i have some really shitty marker bindings. every time i land switch and eject my brakes pop down and then because of all the pressure completely break off. this has happened like 5 times this season and i have either had to fix them or buy new brakes for about 20 bucks. so my question is:

What moderately priced bindings should i get for next season? are there any with brake systems that wont break like this (made for both switch and regular?

check out rossi/look, 4frnt, maybe high-end salomon

Brakes will snap off occasionally on sketchy switch landings, but the general conensus is that marker are worse than others at this.

yea that has happened to me when i landed switch the whole brakes bent and i double ejected, i was like wtf happened? Then took them to the shop and they said that that happens alot with markers.

salomons have the best brake system around. it just lifts up and bam. no sketchiness if your brake width matches your skis width

so get salomons because they are good all around. no upward release but who really needs that

my rossi brakes have bent a number of times just from landing switch in crusty pow. Otherwise they've held up really well (although the rotating toepiece takes a while to snap back in place in powder if it gets rotated.)

i don't know why people think that...deadbolt brakes are no different than salomon or look brakes.
