My initials are BP, therefore, I really know what is happening. It's not an oil spill, no no no, you all have it wrong.

A boat captain working to rescue sea turtles in the Gulf of Mexico said he saw BP ships burning sea turtles and other wildlife alive, myFOXtampabay.com reported late Tuesday.

Captain Mike Ellis said in an interview posted on You Tube that the boats were conducting controlled burns to get rid of the oil.

"They drag a boom between two shrimp boats, and whatever gets caught between the two boats, they circle it up and catch it on fire. Once the turtles are in there, they can’t get out," Ellis said.

Ellis said he had to cut short his three-week trip rescuing the turtles because BP quit allowing him access to rescue turtles before the burns.

"They're pretty much keeping us from doing what we need to do out there," Ellis said.

Other reports corroborate Captain Ellis' claims. A report in the Los Angeles Times described "burn fields" of 500 square miles in which 16 controlled burns will take place in one day.

"When the weather is calm and the sea is placid, ships trailing fireproof booms corral the black oil, the coated seaweed and whatever may be caught in it, and torch it ... " the report said.

Ellis said most of the turtles he saw were Kemps Ridley turtles, a critically endangered species. Harming or killing one would bring stiff civil and criminal penalties and fines of up to $50,000 against BP.
 
Ok here is the real story, I probably shouldn't say it, but whatever, you guys need to know.

It all started about 30 years ago when we, BP, first made contact with life away from Earth, on a planet called Tiando. On this planet, there was a need for illegal drugs on Earth, which aren't illegal in Tiando. We started to provide drugs to the 'aliens' on Tiando, and in return, they provided us with various goods, such as gold, oil (they could make it, not dig it up, they know how to actually make oil in a lab), saltine crackers and then more recently, PS3's. All was good with the drug trade, we sent out drugs (or I should say they picked them up) for the past 30 years, twice a year. The order sizes were always around the same, all was going well. Then, within the past year, they ordered a much larger order. We said we can produce that much drugs, it is too much (they told us this about a week before they were coming). Well, there was (and still is) a civil war going on on Tiando between the Giko Tribe and the Ulanava Tribe. Drugs was the main cause of the civil war, because long story short, the Giko Tribe sent there drugs off to another planet for goods on Tiando, so there was a shortage of drugs......Back to us, BP. We couldn't produce the amount of drugs they wanted, and they came to Earth. We didn't have the drugs, and they were pissed. Like really, really, pissed. So then, they left pissed at us, and said we will pay. They refused to pay us for the drugs they took from us, saying they would pay us when we weren't expecting it. Well, we lost contact with them, and then all of a sudden, BOOM. They dumped oil all over where you guys think the oil spill is. The spill is just a cover up for them dumping it, and every few days, they come back and dump more. They said until we get the drugs they need, they will keep dumping. So no, there is no leak. There is a spill. A spill from aliens from Tiando (the Giko Tribe to be exact).

they aren't dragging balls of fire around behind their boats with the boom. secondly a boom isn't a net. it only penetrates the water at most 1 foot. something a turtle can dive away from.

And dive under it? they have no idea what's happening. The weedline they normally hide under is getting caught up with the oil that is collected.

Whoa whoa whoa!!! BP is buring sea turtles alive and you three are arguing?!?! THIS IS A SEA TURTLE HOLOCAUST AND YOU SIT HERE AND DO NOTHING! What does America need, to have our National Sea Turtle rescuer deployment center bombed by some crazy Japanese company owned by BP for you three to stop arguing?! THIS IS WWII ALL OVER AGAIN!!!!!
 
i thought that would have implied that i wasn't on the computer, but instead doing things more productive like going to my league ball hockey game or making dinner. i guess your reading comprehension is a little slow.

i think you're just mad that i called you out on trying to find an article that would prove me wrong. obviously it took a considerable amount of time; perhaps almost four hours. if this wasn't the case then i wouldn't have struck the chord that i did and you wouldn't be going on about this still.

four hours is quite a waste of time. at least one of us was doing something productive in the mean time.
