Boys Trip out West Somewhere?

Starting to plan for a trip next February (2017), we are all basically in our late 30's looking for pow and about 3 days of skiing. This is a boys trips not traveling with kids or wives. Most of us have been to Lake Tahoe and Utah, we're not opposed to going back but wanna consider all reasonable options.

We would leave out of Hartford Ct, we are looking for convince since it will only be a four day trip but also the most bang for our buck. This is not a ski bum cheap as we can find trip but we also don't wanna break the bank.

We are all Killington weekend warriors looking for steep and deep.

I just wanna narrow it down to a few resorts and then watch prices and snow early next winter.

So far Jackson comes to mind, but not sure about travel time in and out I know you have to take a smaller plane in and out right?

Whistler of course.

Any cat skiing trips that are comparable?

Your thoughts?
 
Silverton cool will add to the list. Would love to hike but since we only have 3-4 days max of skiing I would like to keep the hiking to a minimal, no longer than an hour hiking like we did at Brighton or Solitude
 
Ironically, I just flew out of Bradley for Salt Lake City this morning and ski Killington on the regular haha. I looked into Jackson and Whistler, but the flight prices are more than double a flight into SLC and the convience/cheapness of staying in the city cant be beat.

if you're willing to fly out of JFK, flights were almost $100 cheaper than BDL, but that wouldve been a large pain in the ass for me.
 
I could probably search this but how is Silverton? Can I spend three days there? Would you recommend skiing with a guide?
