i've been skiin in the park for like a month and i can hit clear all my parks jumps, its a small park so the biggest gap is like 25 feet, but whenever i hit rails or boxes, my skis fall out from my. I dont care if i'm called a poser or newb or whatever but im not sure whats up, am i to far on my edge or what

ya man same with me a while ago. the key is having a nice wide stance, and keeping your weight forward. keeping your weight forward is key. and if your imtimidated, buy some padded shorts for under your pants. they take the pain out of falling. message me for some good ones

-weight forward

-wide, relaxed stance

ya what he said ur 1st rection is to lean back so u dont catch an edge or but u need to put ur weight forward and look at the end of the rail

i was like that last month...just be confident and keep ur weight low....gorilla steeze is key

yah the only way you are going to stay on it is if you look directly at the end of it. you will go where you are looking..so if you look off to the side..you'll slide off of it

make sure you are going right at the rail/box. when i was learning rails, i was too afraid to commit. i would come at the rail from the right too much and would just slide off the side of the rail. then i went right at the rail and nail the whole thing first time. moral of the story is to go straight at it and look at the landing.

wide stance, lean forward some or stay centered, make sure u look at the end of the rail (helped me a lot), make sure ur edges under boot are dull, and im sure im missing stuff

im like that right now as well, i can do anything you throw infront of me, steep, powder, jumps, but when it comes to rails, i just dont know

^wow, you just described my skiing perfectly, we should have our own cult, like, skiers who rip but ret ripped on rails.

jump onnto it, but only enough that you land gently on the rail, landing hard on the rail really makes it hard to slide, oh ya and dont be afraid if speed it helps a ton, other than that just keep a wide stance, stay low and slide on your bases not your edges
