me and my friend r making a box cuz we cant do rails yet does ne 1 know wat we could put on top to help slide instead of fiber glass

plexi glass(idunnoif thats fiber glass) or just use platic or sheet metal(have fun with that) u really cant make a box without plexi glass

i think they use teflon plastic at most areas

i thought from all the previous posts about making boxes that the material used was 'puckboard' the shit they have below the glass all around hockey rinks...i think

I can't remember what this thread is about so ill just shoot. I think that puckboard works great as long as it is properly screwed in right and secured.

I made one using sheet metal but it's pretty cheap. It slides fine but its not good for tha skis and i had a hell of a time getting the top flat and not warping it
