i am making a rollercoaster slide box that is about 16 feet long and a foot wide. Does anybody know what i would use for the top of it? i was thinkin like plexiglass or sheet pvc or somethin like that but none of the places around me carry like sheets of plastic.

Dude, go to your local arena, see if they have any extra material that they make the actual boards from, if they don't ask them who they get it from, that stuff is the best.

Seems almost immpossible a local hardware store doesn't carry sheets of plastic, maybe check again?? you can order sheets from online plastic companies too, but I'm sure there's something local... ask a sign shop...

Wouldn't the plastic get cuts and nicks in it from your edges if you didn't get on the box right? It seems like if you got one little nick you'd continue to hit it and dig it deeper. I've never seem a plastic fun box so enlighten me.

Correct me if I'm wrong but lexan is a type of plastic ski resorts use for boxes.

you are correct, the best souce of this plastic is an old plastic tube slide thts works well
