Yo, so i pretty much straded freestyle this year. i feel i've progressed a lot since i can only go out when i'm not teaching skiing which is an hour or 2 a day. I just learned how to slide a rail yestarday. I felt like a was getting very comfortable on them so i tried to slide an A-Frame. the first time i tried a did it pretty well exept i didn't land evenly on it so i slid off the side but ik what i did wrong on there. The 2nd time i tried when i got to the down part i slid out. i was trying to distribute my weight but it wasn't workin. does anyone know what i could do to help me be abnle to do it?

ben ze nees!

if you're falling back lean further forward

or you're not gonna have a good time...

alternatively, instructor, use your edges to dig into the rail surface(hockey stop style) to slow yourself, heh

Yeah rails that change up require a lot more focus on the front leg and weight distribution

I think that rails are easier than boxes but boxes seem less scary at first than rails. Just get on pop 90 slide spot the end of the rail and land.

yeah like everyone said, just spot the end of the rail. and the obvious, just lean the opposite way your sliding off. it also might help to sort of turn your chest towards the end of the rail, that'll help you correct any mistakes while on the rail, or save yourself from nutting

go quick! the more speed you have the less of a chance you have of falling. but if you bail half way with too much speed. you will fall. count on it.
