Boulder, Utah, Vermont...

And I was wondering, should I try to get into the University of colorado at boulder? Ski rsorts are about an hour away i heard. And also, is it as good as they say it is?

U of utah is by SLC, and I don't want to get out of a city to get into another one... and vermont...well, I was in maine for a whole year 2 years ago and the snow up there isn't exactly the snow I'm looking for. Any Canadian colleges worth to look at?

And by the way, it's the best ski season in Spain since the mid 80's...320 cms of snow base, skiing until june this year, hell yeah.

UBC is pretty good in Canada, it's located in Vancouver, and then you will be close to Grouse, Seymour, Cypress, and like 2 hours away from Whistler.

vermont is good if you dont mind east coast...burlington is a dope city and there are like 10 super good mtns with 2 hours...and a bunch within 30 minutes...all the good east coast parks are here....but boulder has better overall skiing for sure...boulder and burlington are pretty similar as towns tho

CU Boulder is awesome, i'm there and its a great time. Skiing is about 1:15-1:45 away, depending on where your going. Winter Park, Breck, Vail, Copper all have dope parks. The snow isn't as good as Utah but we still get quite a bit. And Boulder is a ridiculous party school if thats what you are looking for.

kicks ass over here. it's snowing like crazy. good powder day at stowe yesterday. good terrain parks. many good mountains within an hour fifteen or so. burlington has everything...shops, food, clubs, music, lake champlain...very cool.

 
if your willing to go to the university of vermont, why not just come norht a bit to Bishops. There are ski hills everywhere, and a drinking age of 18. It cant be better.

if you are choosing a school based on skiing, go to utah. trust me

well, personally i would say that your priorities as far as schooling goes is a little out of wack. If the only reason you are choosing a school is based on skiing then why even bother going to school. Its important to choose a school you will have fun at, but if skiing is the only reason then why waist the money on tuition and just live in a ski town. Im not saying dotn go to a ski college, im just saying look at what each school as to offer and base it on that. Boulder is an expensive school as far as out of state tuition is. o yeah, btw i will be attending the UofU next year.

 
dude, believe me, you have no idea what I'm looking for. I've already been in college, but I dropped this year, I just want to travel, have fun, ski, take drugs, meet people, ski, and study journalism so someday I can find myself writing for the Times sitting at my warm house where I'd be growing powerplant and red spanish wine.

Well, I think i'm staying here for at least one more year. Got no money. Like 200 euros. that's not gonna get me far, I guess. But it's okay, this year at least we had a decent half pipe. And tons of snow. Goodbye to my dreams!
