Could you get some pics of them? Rocker profile and such

So basically earlier in the year I posted a thread asking about a pair of super light skis and after getting multiple responses such as the arv 86s etc someone commented and said commencal makes a super light park ski and did some research and found out it’s a bike company from Colorado who also makes skis and once I look at the weight being 1260 grams per ski I knew I needed to try them so I saved up and ordered them and got them today gonna be honest I don’t know much about them and went off on a whim and trusted someone from new schoolers but I’m getting them mounted tmr and I’ll let everyone know how they are

Never heard of this brand. What’s the scoop?

Andorran mountain bike company now making skis. Bikes are a little heavy so kinda funny to me the skis are so light

So here is the official review of the commencal absolut 176 ski

TIPS BEFORE BUYING

if you ride park please get them de tuned they are incredibly sharp. I went to set a front 270 and cought my inside edge and ended up sacking the rail because how sharp they were.

PROS

stupid light obviously

very springy espically doing flat ground Ollie’s you pop a lot higher

sharp which can be good and bad

great on jumps ( completely opposite of what I thought they feel amazing in air)

good feeling on rails

easy to get used too ( coming from the guy with a 22lb previous setup)

very flexible underfoot

dont chatter

full side wall

dope graphic that looks 100x better in person

Overall after just one day there are by far my fav ski

CONS

the 176s are actually 175 after measuring which isn’t that big of a deal

right Out of the box they had bubbles under the top shear in the tails (makes me worried for the future)

def not a downhill ski after riding down hill and park today I can tell there made for park

sometimes there so flexy they feel uncomfortable

very very sharp

OVERALL

if your thinking of buying them honestly I’d say go for it the pros way out weigh the cons and for the price they are overall great and I highly recommend and honestly I’m not sure why they aren’t as popular.

I just picked up the same pair, thanks for the review. I got a pair of 176's even though I usually ride 171 but they were super cheap. Are you still skiing on them? How did they hold up?
