dude, it's spelled boredom.
but as to the setup, if you're strapped on cash, i myself would get this:
last years scratches - go to a ski swap or something, you can get them new for really cheap. my friend got brand new in plastic 174's for 100. and there were plenty more.
it doesn't really matter what bindings you put on as long as they hold your boot on the ski, don't splurge on bindings.
go to a marshall's or a tj.maxx store around you, you can find extremely cheap gangta pants and jackets. keep in mind, they're not really name brand or whatever, but they'll easily get the job done. my friend, again, got a pair of nice ass large grey pants that looked SICK, for only 20 dollars. i then went to the store and bought like 3 pairs of pants.
and then for goggles, just get some cheap ass scotts or smiths or something.
that'll getcha going. keep in mind that this is for you being WITHOUT CASH. that's what it's tailored for, so nobody bash me on telling the kid to get 'shitty ass shit' just because it's not armada or helley hansen.
