Ill be riding boreal tomorrow, anyone else?

I know I should be at alpine, but Im waiting for a funds transfer to my bank account to get my pass so for now its boreal, and im stoked to check out what eric has going on.

If anyone wants to ride tomorrow drop a line....Ill be there around ten.

a few of the U.N.GNAR kids will be up for a night sesh if the weather doesn't go to shit.

So I rode boreal today and was very impressed with the setup and flow....

My only complaint would be how terribly hard it is to get speed on the jumps, and due to that, having to start way uphill you could never see if the gapers had cleared the landing.

After coming within a foot of landing right on one who decided it was a good idea to lay down on the landing, I took off for the day....

Props Eric if you are reading this, is there anything you can do to help keep the gapers off the jumps or improve visibility to see whats going on? (maybe ski patrol can warn people who are causing dangerous situations?)

^ i dunno man..thats a hard thing to do. you tell one person...and another is right there to take his place. ive seen some close calls, and someone get airlifted to the hospital. i guess its kinda unaviodable...you just gotta be carefull. if youve got a filmer...or ride with a buddy, you guys can switch off on the jumpline...and just keep an eye out for one another. i know myself ive gone down pretty hard off jumps..and sometimes it takes awhile to collect your gear... and from the bottom you can never see whats coming, so you just gotta haul ass outa there.

Yeah, welcome to boreal, the spotter steeze is quite necessary for the jumps, but you got to admit straightlining from half way up a mountain makes you feel like you're pulling some seriously XXXtreeme areial maneuvers, even if the jumps are only like 35 feets.

haha yea. I 180'd the first jump and landed seriously a foot away from the guy who decided it was a bright idea to lay down on the landing.

Whats weird is on that hit for some reason I went right on the lip (usually carve left up) and if I hadnt I would have landed dead on him.

The rails were legit, had some flow to the line too which is rare for what Im used to.

More of you should ride days....I was one of two or three skiers there.
