BOOTS?

dude, you got hacked on in the other (exact same nonetheless) thread and you're gonna catch hell here too. asking us what kinda boots you should buy is like me asking everyone what i should eat for lunch tomorrow. like you said in your other thread, certain types of boots are better suited for certain types of skiing, but those guidelines arent always true. lots of people say a salomon 1080, but that's almost the same as the midrange salomon verse boots, except it has a rubber pad and it's a different color. if you dont go and try some on before buyijg them, you will be dissapointed i promise you. i'm just trying to help you get some equipment that will fit you. just remember that your boots are the only piece of equipment that you are always in contact with, so they better be comfortable and fit you right.

free ipods for everyone!!!

^Easy...the 1080 boot is the same as the Xwave 6. Same fit, same volume, different cuff, bootboard, and colour scheme. The 1080 boot is much, much better than a Performa boot, which is Salomon's recreational line up of 'comfort before performance' boots.

Go to a shop and try on various boots from different manufacturers. It's the best way to find something that fits your feet. And at a very minimum, get a pair of cheap green Superfeet, or a pair of custom cork superfeet insoles. It's the best $30-140 you'll ever spend.
