Boots,to small?

So I got some new boots and I'm not quite sure what is to small or the right size. I had some spk's that fit way to loose and were way to big when I got them. Never really rode with a properly fitting boot before. So my toes are hitting the front of the boot, is the normal for your toes to hurt on new boots? Its a length issue not width of toe box. I think im just freaking out bc my other boots were really comfy but power transmission was terrible.

length can be punched, what kind of footbed do you have?

describe hitting the front, does flexing forward in the boots take the pressure off?

have you skied them yet?

keep in mind boots pack out a lot

I have the wallischs from this year. Leaning forward helps a bit. Yeah I have 2 days on them. Im just worried they wont pack out enough

get a footbed first off, that will give you a little toe room, youve got an intuition in those full tilts right? did you mold it?

Firstly, there is a dedicated boot problem thread. Please put your questions there in the future, as your question as been answered and you might find some other helpful stuff too:https://www.newschoolers.com/ns/forums/readthread/thread_id/768122/

Secondly, in a brand new boot that is the proper size for skiing your toes should touch the front of the boot when standing upright. When you flex forward, your toes should pull away from the front.

Thirdly, definitely get a proper footbed. A footbed supports your arches and among other things, it holds your foot in the back of the boot not allowing your toes to smash the front.
