Boots hurting, but only sometimes? help please.

Hey guys, i've looked around a little on the site and couldn't find a sure answer.

I have a pair of HEAD heatfit mojo's and they sometimes start to hurt like a motherfucker on the arches of my feet. i have them buckled tightly and they are pretty snug but they just start to hurt some times.

any advise?
 
actually no. Conformable Custom Pro beds are the best but you'll probably be good with a set of trim-to-fit beds. depending on where where the pain is specifically on your foot, the boot might be a little too narrow for you and is pinching a nerve in your foot. go to an experianced bootfitter and get checked out
 
loosen off your instep buckle , should just be finger tight. as in takes one finger to close, any tighter will cut off your circulation. Go see a decent bootfitter, may be a volume issue ie not enough space/too much space or you may need a footbed.

Bottom line, put your hand in your pocket reach for some dollars and go see a decent bootfitter. Comfy boots vs saving the $40 labour +parts and being in pain. I know which I'd choose.
 
I used to have those boots and the footbed/insole thing was about a centimeter thick and was a piece of crap. It might just be that you dont have good arch support. I would look into some footbeds because even if that isnt the problem I would still recommend getting some for that boot. Like others said it could be that you are tightening the instep buckle too much but if it is only happening sometimes it seems more likely to be your arch support. Is it like a stretching stinging pain in your arches???
 
i'd also recommend custom footbeds.

custom foodbeds are possibly the best thing money can buy when it comes to comfy boots. They can be pretty expensive, but i assure you there worth it. Since your getting arch pain footbeds would probably help significantly as they support the arch of your foot, something that stock footbeds do not, as there flat and allow your foot to move around more, often causing discomfort
