What do you guys suggest boots wise for wide feet. I have kinda had everything, from a dalbello krypton to an il moro T and most recently a k2 pinnacle 110. They all hurt my feet to the extreme even after being molded. Any suggestions would help.
Nordica Cruise is a boot that fits my short wide feet well out of the box. But over time and lots of use they have become a bit more loose than I like so I moved to a Hawx Prime that has had some work done by a bootfitter. Bottom line find a reputable bootfitter and let them help you.
If you have tried all those boots and they are not working I’m going to guess it’s more a boot fitter issue then boot problem.
A good old boot fitter will be able to get you in a good boot. Wide feet if anything are the easiest to fit I think as you just widen a boot until I fits the foot. Narrow feet can be harder as there is no way to make a boot smaller.
So so maybe rather then looking at boots do some research who around you has good reviews for fitting. Offer in things like a free fit gaurentee is always a good thing to look for. Or try asking round some of the instructors or coaches at you local hill.
I have a wide foot and every boot ive ever had cramps me up. I bought the krypton 120 and its sick. wide enough and flexes like magic. It definitely doesn't flex like a traditional 120, I would say like a 110 but I love it. Use it in the park and with some bigger mountain stuff too.
Rossignol Speed 120 or Speed 130 are known to be good for wide feet but not a super wide barrel boot like the Atomic Hawx Magna. The Lange SX is good too but not as wide as the Rossi Speed

The Speed is only 2mm wider than the SX. The main difference is that the SX has a much narrower heel pocket (as does the Hawx Magna and the Tecnica Mach 1).
