Boots & Bindings

Hey Friends, check it:

First off, I got a new pair of boots, size 27.5, 319mm. My old boots were also size 27.5 (i think), but the bottoms say "315mm". Is there a reason for the differentiating sizes? Or do I have one pair of 27.5's and one pair of 27's?

But here is the real question. Knowing that my bindings are set to size 315mm, do I need to adjust them? Is it bad to use the 319mm boot in that binding setting? Do I have to take my skis into a shop or can i fix them at home?

I appreciate any thoughts or comments you guys have, muchos gracias.

the shell sizes are different for each company. and a 27 and a 27.5 usually have the same shell, different liner. the easiest way to tell if they fit in your bindings is to put them in and if they fit, there you go. but if its tight, you will have to adjust them / go to a shop to get them adjusted

thanks man, though i think im going to take them to a shop to have them checked out (just to be safe).
