Alright, so this is for those of you making the 06 team, As you know, we can not get you free boots or bindings. However, if you want some sort of deals, You can contact Spinks or me, and im sure we can help you out. Its probably easier if us kids contact spinks and canada contact me, but it doesnt really matter....

Well, I guess that if we consider that you are good enough we could hook you up to other company that we know the team managers, talk to ellen about that, I havent seen the vids of all the kids in the us..

not to chime in in a negative way...but it is in no way any ski companies obligation to get you a slew of sponsors...it is nobodies responsability but your own to get your clothing, goggle, boot etc. sponsors...of course its great if someone can put a word in for you, but EXPECTING anything more than what liberty provides you is just silly...get out there with those resumes and promos and get your own sponsors...its not ellen or juliens job to do it for you

i was just putting out the damn question freakin a... i wasnt expecting a yes i was just asking, damn... they said something about the boots and binding so i asked about clothing....

haha yikes^ i didnt mean this to you homes! i just mean in general...the reason they posted the thing about boots is because so many kids were asking...but at any rate i just meant that you wouldnt go asking your rossi team manager if they could hook you up with a clothing company...im just tryin to save ellen and julien all the questions about it by throwin out the fact that you should take care of it on your own

actually, i know a couple people whose first sponsor helped them out by getting them in contact with others. It helps get the riders names get out there and in more places thus giving the first company more exposure.

less money on gear = more money to spend on comps and traveling...

in fact, a lot of the pros didn't get where they are from promo vids and resumes...

 
i realize that...half of what happens in the industry is who you know...thats why unfortunately alot less caliber skiers get the oppurtunities as opposed to the talented people with no contacts...i was simply pointing out that ellen and julien are not obligated in any way to "hook us up" with anything more than skis etc.

ok, you all need to relax a bit!

It is in our best interests to promote our riders. If other companies ask about our roots team kids, if we said bad things about you it would make us look foolish for signing you!

If we run across anything that we can help you out with, we will pass it along!
