Looking to find a good bootfitter in the wyo/montana region, My local shop doesnt carry boots stiffer than 90 and after two failed special orders i want to find someone to fit my foot, so tell me . . . Who`s your favorite

There is absolutely no one batter in WY/MT than Stephen Mcdonald in Jackson Hole. Here is his contact info.

I have also had good experiences with Andrew, the owner at Grizzly Outdoors in Big Sky (in town, not at the mountain). Most of the bootfitters in Bozeman are extremely hit or miss...

Either Stephen, or the guys at Grizzly can set you up with custom foot beds, and excellent boot fitting, and boot work.

Stephen is a board certified pedorthist, in addition to a very experienced boot fitter, so he definitely gets my #1 recommendation. The only other guy I would recommend as highly is Jim Mates, but he is in Seattle.

Thank you so much, Stephen seems like a super legit fitter, will probably be making a trip to J-Hole soon!

I would go to Pepi Stiegler's in the village when you head out to jackson. They hook it up real well with prices and are the best boot fitters in jackson.

You need to ask for "Bootsie" he's the man! I wont have an of my boot fitting done anywhere else.

And if Bootsie isnt at the small shop go to the OLYMPIC PLAZA. And ask for Scott Smith.
