Is there anyway to change a boot like my x wave 8's into more of a freestyle boot like an modifications i cna make on my own, peace

yea, there should be a screw in the back of the boot, just unscrew it and the boot will be softer, simple

booster strap my help...but doesn't change the flex of the plastic

well a soft boot isn't just the actual forward flex in the boot, but the flex of the plastic. The plastic flexabilty is the biggest factor for an overall soft boot. A booster strap replaces the strap over you shin and has some elastic to it so it flexes more..which will help
