line__skis Member Jun 12, 2003 #2 Iam guessin the freeride's are lighter... Salomons usually have a thicker shell, and also the 1080 boots have rubber insoles 'aka' shock absorbers as some call it... I ride the 1080's i have to say their the sexiest boots on the market! mark|RAD::

WIfreeskier Active member Jun 13, 2003 #6 the only thing that boot weight matters for is for hiking. i hear the rossi softs are damn light. my Lange Concepts are pretty light too ------------------- -I don't trust anything that bleeds for 7 days and doesn't die HIGH NORTH SESSION 2!
