Boot tightness

I’ve been really struggling with my boots lately. If I loosen them I feel like I get nasty shin bang and I’m always landing backseat. When I tighten them I get terrible pains in my shin and calf. The only way I’ve found relief is tightening them to shit when I’m skiing and then popping the buckles open on the lift. It works but it’s less than ideal and I don’t race.

I was properly fitted by a pro and yes I have full tilts so fuck off. Just lookin for some advice

I just crank them as tight as I comfortably can with one hand and bear through the pain, my steez feeds off the throbbing shin pain.

Terrible pains when buckled immediately or after a few min? I unbuckle every lift ride so they feel tight at the top.

unbuckling on lift is pretty common, i do it all the time. i prettt much always start the day off real loose, and tighten up as the day goes on. something that helped me when i was having some issues was making sure my strap tightness and buckle tightness matched i.e. don’t crank the strap to as tight as it will go for the first run when ur buckles are still on the loose notches

I just tighten them tight enough to function and that my feet go numb by the first lift ride. Then I don’t have to feel it then on

It is definitely a little annoying to unbuckle every lift ride but if you wanna rock em tight, it’s kind of the way to go

Advice? Yea, go see a new boot fitter.

that’s how my FT feel on my left foot... what I do is not over crank where to hurt but tight enough where it’s in the middle I guess. but I always leave the toe buckle up until I get off the lift. if my top buckle is cranked down all the way it starts to hurt. like wat others have said just pop the buckles in lift line until you get off the lifts
