Boot size and binding settings

Im an intermediate/less advanced skiier. I'm wondering what DIN I should have set and also what size boot/type of boot I should get. I wear a loose 10.5 vans. Not sure what to get.

the generic answer is let your shop help you pick dins and get your boots fitted by someone who knows what they are doing.
