i am interested in the ft hot dogger but of course i cant buy since i have never tried it on and no shops around me have the hot dogger. they have ft's but no hot dogger. so i was wondering if any boots are the same fit as them to see a compairision?

have them check the shell fit on any FT since they all have the same shell... and why do so many people want hot doggers and booters? They are the same as all other FTs except with worthless tongues(IMO, too soft for real skiing) and much cheaper liners(not IMO, that is just true. No FT liner is actual intuition quality, but hot dogger and booter get the shittiest of them all). Get High Fives, Bumble Bee Pros, or Konflicts if you are getting 09s. If you are getting 2010s then get seth, classic, high five, konflict..and I don't remember any other important ones.

Andy parry uses the purple hotdogger tongues. But you probably don't consider him to be a real skier. Tongue flex is personal preference. I use a 6 on my bumblebee pros and don't throw down nearly as hard a Andy does

I do agree with you that ft shells are pretty much the same with shittier quality liners, different boot boards, and different colors

ok, there are some guys that kill it with soft boots. IMO, stiffer boots are just as good in park(maby a little less forgiving, but if you have decent form you'll be fine) and are for sure better at big mountain/anything except park, even though you can still use them. By real skiing I meant stuff not made with shovels and groomers. There are also skiers that killed it in rear entry boots.

forgot about bootboards, that's important. Make sure to get a FT with a rubber bootboard. All the shells are literally the exact same fit with different colors.
