so i gots my self really skinny calfs pretty much...and every boat i try on i have like a 2-3 in gap in at the top of the boot.
right now im skiing with dabello kryptons. and i have to put a beer cozys in between my shin and boot and i just feel like not getting everything out of it with this method..
and im looking into getting new boots(maybe some full tilts :]. but idk if they will suit me..) so anyone who has the same situation as me or has any advice that would be great.
thanks ns.

you redefine chicken legs!!

drill a new hole in the cuff and move the whole buckle over a few cm's. i have very large calves so i moved the buckles looser on my kryptons and it worked fine

with my kryptons there were pre-drilled holes, just move the grooves for the buckle over on the black part of the cuff

if that's not enough then drill a hole

my boots dont fit either

so i got some fulltilts

no fucking joke, but chase there is not a 2-3 inch gap in your boots just double up the the beer cozys

haha okay what evs.. im just going to shred with what i gots..
ill just have to stomp every thang so i get no bang bang shin bang

If only there was some guy you could go to who could actually look at your foot/leg and use his experience and knowledge to give you the best possible options to fix your problem.....

the only thing good about the booters was the liners, no shin bang, and they were super light

ill do another weekend in them tho because they fit my feet better then my other boots /:

i know i wish....
but i did go to this knowledge you speak of and he gave me the boots i have now.. and guess what.. they still don't fit... ;]
....but thanks for that helpful post!

No really though. Guys in shops work with problems like this all day. Keep talking to the guy(s) until you get it fixed. It may take many trips but you'll find a good solution eventually.

An example is that it took me years to get footbeds that finally worked with my feet. I went through lots of custom stuff and everything imaginable. The shop guy finally found out that a non-custom footbed 2 sizes too big for me but cut down to size fit my arch and foot perfectly. You never know what might be the best for you. But they can certainly help you out.

I had this problem on my Head Mojos. I moved the top buckle back and up about 1cm. This means i can crank it tighter (even though i only use the middle of the range now) and that it also closes the boot higher up. Then I bought a booster strap and put it a little higher up the cuff than the old strap was. The combination of these solved my problem.

Beer coozy?! Are you kidding? Is that as uncomfortable as it sounds?

As a fellow skinny person, I feel your pain. I had a difficult time finding boots that fit right until I found the Salomon Falcon CS Pro boot. This boot was made for us skinny folk looking for a high performance boot. If you get the CS version, you can custom mold the liner AND the shell.

Because I like a stiffer boot, I ski in the Falcon CS Pro with the 120 flex. But I believe they also made a 90 flex Falcon CS as well if you like a softer flex.

Time to take those beer coozies out, untuck your jeans from your boots, and buy a pair that acutally fits!
