Boot Heater Question, HOTRONIC

Hey guys,

I'm running an old pair of hotronic power 3.5+ batteries on my boot heaters and my BLUE plug chargers got fucked up last season and I haven't been able to find a new charger. I'm up in Apex, BC where it's cold as balls and my batteries just died.

I'm wondering if I used the WHITE plug chargers from the newer hotronic batteries if that's all I have available and what (if any) the chances are of my batteries exploding or just completely failing on me altogether.

Any info would help, cause my feet are seriously cold.

Through your current heaters away and get some lenz heated socks instead. Honestly installing heaters ruins the fit whereas the socks change nothing. Honestly socks all the way

My mind has been blown, Im obv missing out on new stuff being out of the shop scene for a few years. So these are wireless then? No need to worry about losing the battery back off your boots? How do these stand up to washing and drying? It would suck to have only one pair of ski socks.

There is a small "hookup" in the cuff of the sock that you attach the thin lithium pack to.

Seriously, if anyone here suffers from cold toes, these are the way to go:

So are there wires then? Where do the batteries end up going, on the boot or are there long cables like the hottronics that allow you to keep them in a pocket?

Also, my german is weak

Sorry about that, there should be an English button somewhere. Imagine small metal studs at the top of the sock and thin battery pack clips into the studs on the sock. There are "wires" running down from that area into the toe portion of the sock. The wire technology is super impressive and you don't feel it at all- it is basically on the same thickness/feel as the fabric itself.

hmmmm, my frostbitten big toes would really like these i think. Looks like on ebay you can get a brand new set of the thins for $200ish.
