Boot Flex Question

Next year I am considering investing in a more all mountain/freeride oriented boot, and I'm having some questions. I am currently riding tecnica agents 80. What is the benefit of getting a boot with higher flex? How will a higher flex boot feel different? Will it feel different at all? Thanks for answers

Stiffer=more control/response over the ski, but less give on landings.

A stiffer boot will deliver a more efficient ride for sure, but don't go so stiff that you can't flex the boot. If you did happen to get a boot that was too stiff, a good boot-fitter can soften the boot to your exact needs.

This happens a lot when you get a more expensive boot, they get stiffer. But you also get a way better liner. So some people opt to go for the higher end boot to get the super nice liner and have the boot softened to their requirements.

They wont fold whenever you land a bit farther foward, and will be more responsive.
