Boot fitting help

I just got FT drop kicks and i had them heatmolded at my local shop. I was at killy a couple weeks back, skiing on them for the first time. I had a weird pinch on my right heel towards the end of the day. Is this normal for the break in period? This is my first pair of Full Tilts and the help is greatly appreciated.

Were they properly fitted before you bought them? Or did you just try them on for ten minutes then bought them

But were they properly fitted? Did you try on other boots? Or did you get them because they are Full Tilts

Do you have footbeds in there as well? If the front of your foot is not supported, your heel will shift as you ski. This can lead to the pain you are describing and a nice footbed will remedy it.

If it is not that and it is just a pressure (like a tight heel) then give it a few more days of skiing. Your liner just might need to break in a bit more.

I bought them because i have a narrow foot. I don't buy things because of a name brand or because a certain pro wears them. i did my research before I made my decision. I also asked one of my fellow ski school instructors, who also works at the shop I went to, how he felt about the boots. Last season, I had SPK's and my feet were sliding from side to side in the boots. I knew i needed a narrower boot so I looked at Dalbellos and Full Tilt. I didn't like the way the Dalbellos fit, so i went with the Full Tilts as they were the best fit for my feet. I also liked the flex in the Full Tilt better than the Dalbellos. They were properly fitted, as the method of the shop I went to was the same as every other shop. I'm not sure if I let my foot sit in the boot long enough for the liner to properly mold to my foot, possibly causing the pinch in my heel.

My foot fits in pretty tight with little to no movement in the boot. I don't have footbeds in the boot. My main concern is the liner and if this is a normal break in process for a new boot. This is the first "New" ski boot I've ever bought. Everything else was used with a bit of miles on them so they were already broken in.

I put "super feet" in my FT classics and the fit is unrea,l try them out I know they have a 30 day satisfaction guarantee. If you use them and they suck you can return them np, not that i think you will want to

It could be the liner, but without a footbed, no matter how "tight" you think the fit is, a human foot is always more flexible than the ski boot. And when you apply the torque of a 6 foot lever arm called a ski underneath it, your foot gets wrung out like a wet rag. If this does not go away with break in, it is most likely caused by not having a footbed.
