Boot fitting for birth defects

This is a question for boot fitters or anyone who has any experience with something like this. I was born with positional club foot on my right foot, this caused my right leg to be substantially smaller than my left as well as my right foot is pretty much locked into place with a little bit of y-axis movement. I have always just had my boot fitted for my normal foot/leg and dealt with the pain in the other. Does anyone have a solution or experience with something like this? I'd love to hear some suggestions for the best option.

im not sure if this will help you too much, this is not a common thing:

i had one friend who swears he had two different foot sizes. his left fit into a 27.5 meanwhile his right didnt. when trying on a 28.5 he said he felt like his left foot was swimming in it.

he ended up buying two sets of boots, one 27.5 and one 28.5 from two different stores. then returned one of each to the first store. no one at the store noticed. he seems to be happy.

when you say pain, how does is it relate to the fit of the boot? isnt it smaller than the good one?

That's actually a brilliant idea lol. It is smaller but I have trouble getting a tight fit on it so it causes my shin/calf to rattle around in my boot quite a bit. I have never heard of a company that makes custom liners that might be able to fill it out a little bit better but, just seeing what ideas are out there!

most high performance fitters do lace up expanding foam liners, look for a race shop near you.
