Finally stepping away from the ol Full tilts and want to get custom fit

Heard solid things about boot mechanics in Golden

Any recommendations?

Powder7 guys are really nice, as long as you dont get stuck with a first timer or newer employee they really know their stuff and the custom footbeds are nice

I am going there Thursday so fixing to find out.

Got boots at powder7, after one day of skiing really happy. It was a good experience. They measure, start out with a few models and build from there. You wear two different boots on each foot to narrow down the best fit. They are not in a hurry and very thorough. I used super feet as they felt my foot didn’t really require a custom. 12 month guarantee to,the point you can get a store credit if they can’t make it work. It seems they have a next level of fitters if you need additional help if issues come up. I skied from 830-3pm on a non ideal day at WP and had no,discomfort and great fit while skiing. Towards end of day got a hot spot while walking or sitting. It is a known spot for me, my guess will settle with a few more days. I did go with a stiffer boat than I would have thought based on ability, but they felt I would be fine and I certainly could flex them skiing.Overall very happy with the boats and process.
